1 ] மரணம் பின்தொடரும் ஒருவர் இந்த உலக வாழ்கையின் மீது நம்பிக்கை வைக்கிறார்

2 ] ஒருவர் [தன்னுடைய ரப்பை பற்றி] மறதியாளராக [கவனமில்லாமல்] இருக்கிறார், ஆனால் [அவருடைய ரப்] அவரை கவனிக்காமல் [மறதியாளனாக] இல்லை

3 ] அல்லாஹ்வை திருப்திபடுதினோமா அல்லது அல்லாஹ்வை கோபப்படுத்தினோமா [அல்லாஹ்வின் கோபத்தை பெற்றோமா] என்று தெரியாமல் எப்பொழுதும் சிரித்துக்கொண்டு இருக்கும் ஒருவர்

Three Laughs and Three Tears

It is reported form Abû Al-Dardâ – Allâh be pleased with him – that he said, “Three make me laugh, and three make me cry.
Those that make me laugh are a person who puts his hopes in this worldly life while death pursues him, a person who is heedless [of his Lord] while [his Lord] is not heedless of him, and a person who always laughs while he does not know whether he has pleased Allâh or angered Him.
What makes me cry is being separated from my beloved: Muhammad and his party (the Companions), the horrors of the time of death, and standing in front of Allâh ‘azza wa jall on the Day when the secrets will be revealed and I do not know will I then go to Paradise or Hell?”

It is reported from ‘Alî b. Abî Tâlib –Allah be pleased with him – that he said:

"The thing I fear for you most is following desires and having extensive hopes (about this worldly life). Following one’s desires blocks you from the truth, and having extensive hopes makes you forget the hereafter. Verily, this worldly life is departing and the hereafter is approaching and each of them has its children. So be children of the hereafter, not children of this world, for today there are (opportunities to do) deeds and there is no reckoning, but tomorrow there will be reckoning and no deeds.

Al-Hâfidh Ibn Hajr [Al Asqalani] states in Fath Al-Bârî:

Extensive hopes (about this worldly life) give rise to lethargy when it comes to acts of obedience, procrastinating with repentance, desire for worldly things, forgetfulness of the hereafter and hardness of the heart; because the softness of the heart and its purity only comes about by remembering death, the grave, reward and punishment, and the horrors of the hereafter…for if one remembers death, he strives to do acts of obedience, his worries decrease and he is satisfied with less.

Warning against neglecting Salah

Q: What do you say about those who neglect offering Salah (Prayer)?

A: Salah holds a great position in Islam. It is the cornerstone of Islam and the second greatest pillar next to Shahadah (Testimony of Faith). Whoever holds fast to it, will preserve his Din (religion), and whoever neglects it will neglect all other good deeds. Allah (may He be Exalted) states: "Guard strictly (five obligatory) As Salawât (the prayers) especially the middle Salât (i.e. the best prayer 'Asr). And stand before Allâh with obedience [and do not speak to others during the Salât (prayers)]". (Al-Baqarah 2:238) and "And perform As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât), and give Zakât, and Irka' (i.e. bow down or submit yourselves with obedience to Allâh) along with Ar Raki'ûn" (Al-Baqarah 2:43). Allah (may He be Glorified and Exalted) also states: "And they were commanded not, but that they should worship Allâh, and worship none but Him Alone (abstaining from ascribing partners to Him), and perform As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât) and give Zakât: and that is the right religion" (Al-Baiyinah 98:5). In another Ayah (Qur'anic verse) Allah (may He be Praised) states: "Recite (O Muhammad SAW) what has been revealed to you of the Book (the Qur'ân), and perform As-Salât (Iqamât as Salât). Verily, As-Salât (the prayer) prevents from Al-Fahshâ' (i.e. great sins of every kind, unlawful sexual intercourse, etc.) and Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief, polytheism, and every kind of evil wicked deed, etc.)"(Al-'Ankabut 29:45). The Qur'an contains countless Ayahs which indicate the lofty status of Salah and encourage Muslims to steadfastly perform it.

It was authentically reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) stated: The peak of the matter is Islam; its pillar is Salah; and its topmost part is Jihad (Fighting/Struggling in the Cause of Allah). and: Islam has been built upon five pillars: to testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, to establish Salah, to pay Zakah, to fast the month of Ramadan and to perform Hajj. [see Imam An-Nawawi's 40 Ahadith].

The Prophet (peace be upon him) also stated:

That which differentiates us from them (i.e. disbelievers and hypocrites) is our performance of Salah. He who abandons it, becomes a disbeliever[Reported by Ahmad, Tirmidhi and Nasa'i]. The Prophet (peace be upon him) stated: What makes one a disbeliever and a polytheist is abandoning Salah (Prayer). [Reported by Imam Muslim]

[The above Ahadith appears slightly different in the Fatawa Arkan-ul-Islam by Shaykh ibn Uthaimeen as follows : "The covenant between us and them is the prayer, so whoever abandons it has committed an act of Kufr" and "Verily, between a man and Shirk and Kufr is the abandonment of prayer". *additional note by Thoobaah*]

All other Hadiths narrated in this regard indicate that abandonment of Salah is tantamount to Kufr (disbelief), even if the abandoner does not deny its obligation.

This is the most correct view held by scholars in this regard as substantiated by evidence. However, denying the obligatory status of Salah constitutes an act of Kufr as has been unanimously agreed upon by scholars, even if the abandoner is known to offer it regularly. The reason for deeming him a Kafir is that his denial is tantamount to rejecting Allah (may He be Glorified and Exalted) and His Messenger (peace be upon him). Abandonment of Salah invalidates one's Sawm, Hajj and all other acts of worship. This is because major disbelief renders all acts of worship fruitless. This is the meaning of the Ayah which reads: "And whosoever disbelieves in the Oneness of Allâh and in all the other Articles of Faith [i.e. His (Allâh's), Angels, His Holy Books, His Messengers, the Day of Resurrection and AlQadar (Divine Preordainments)], then fruitless is his work, and in the Hereafter he will be among the losers" (Al-Ma'idah 5:5). The same meaning is implied in another Ayah which reads: "But if they had joined in worship others with Allâh, all that they used to do would have been of no benefit to them. (Al-An'am 6:88). There are many other Ayahs with the same intended meaning.

Muslims, men or women, are duty bound to offer the Five Obligatory Daily Prayers at their appointed times. They should enjoin one another to do this and beware not to neglect it. A male Muslim must offer it in the Masjid (mosque) with his Muslim brothers. This is based on the Hadith in which the prophet (peace be upon him) stated: "Whoever hears the Adhan (call to prayer), yet does not go to the Masjid without a valid excuse shall receive no reward for his Salah. When Ibn `Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) was asked about the excuse which one may abandon congregational Salah, he said: "(It is) fear or illness." [Sunan Ibn Majah].

It is also narrated in Sahih (Authentic Book of Hadith) Muslim on the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that A blind man came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah! I have no one to guide me to the Masjid." He, therefore, asked. Allah's Messenger's permission to offer Prayer in his house. He (the Prophet) called him and said: "Do you hear the call to prayer?" He said: "Yes." He (the Prophet then) said: "Respond to it." [Sahih Muslim]. This noble Hadith indicates the great position of offering Salah in congregation and the necessity to hold fast to it. Many people fall into the enormous sin of neglecting the Fajr (Dawn) Prayer in congregation. This is one characteristic of hypocrisy.

A Muslim man should be aware and observe the Fajr Prayer and hasten to perform it in congregation at its appointed time, as he does in the rest of the Five Obligatory Daily Prayers. Allah (may He be Exalted) states: "Verily, the hypocrites seek to deceive Allâh, but it is He Who deceives them. And when they stand up for As-Salât (the prayer), they stand with laziness and to be seen of men, and they do not remember Allâh but little" (An-Nisa 4:142). The Prophet (peace be upon him) stated: "The most burdensome Prayers for the hypocrites are the `Isha' (Night) Prayer and the Fajr (Dawn) Prayer. If they were to know (the blessings) they have in store, they would have come to them, even though crawling". (Agreed upon by Al-Bukhari and Muslim).Imam Ahmad (may Allah be merciful with him) narratedon the authority of `Abdullah ibn `Amr ibn Al-`As (may Allah be pleased with them both) who said: One day the Prophet (peace be upon him) spoke of the great position of Salah and stated: "Whosoever observes it regularly, it will be a source of light, authoritative proof and a means of salvation for him on the Day of Resurrection, and whosoever does not observe it regularly, it will not be a source of light, authoritative proof and a means of salvation for him on the Day of Resurrection and on that day he will join the company of Pharaoh, Haman, Qarun (Kora) and Ubay ibn Khalaf." The Hadith portends severe punishment for those who abandon Salah.

Commenting on the above Hadith, some scholars said: "On the Day of Resurrection one who abandons Salah will join the company of Pharaoh, Haman, Qarun (Kora) and Ubay ibn Khalaf. The reason is that if he abandons it for the sake of holding a prestigious position, he will be behaving like Pharoah who transgressed and behaved arrogantly taking advantage of his royal position. One who abandons it will join his company on the Day of Resurrection. The same is true with Haman, Pharoah's minister who, taking advantage of his position, behaved arrogantly and refused to follow Musa (Moses, peace be upon him). One who neglects Salah because of wealth and lusting after desires is similar to Qarun, an Israelite merchant whom Allah mentions in the Qur'an: Verily, Qârûn (Korah) was of Mûsâ’s (Moses) people, but he behaved arrogantly towards them.

He was distracted by wealth and desires to the point that he disobeyed and arrogantly refused to follow Musa. Allah caused the earth to swallow him up along with his abode. Allah inflicted immediate punishment on him in this life by causing him to remain imprisoned deep down in the earth until the Day of Resurrection where he will suffer eternal punishment. One who abandons Salah being preoccupied with buying, selling, or engaging in various transactions with the sole purpose of amassing wealth will on the Day of Resurrection join the company of Ubay ibn Khalaf, the Makkan merchant who denied Islam. Ubay was killed while in a state of Kufr (disbelief) in the Battle of Uhud. The Prophet (peace be upon him) struck him down with his own blessed hand. The threat mentioned in the Ayah above indicates without a doubt that one who abandons Salah is considered a Kafir even if he does not deny its being an obligatory duty. We ask Allah to protect all Muslims and us from following the evil examples of His enemies.

Allah (Subhaanahu Wa ta A'la) Says:

أَلَمْ يَأْنِ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَن تَخْشَعَ قُلُوبُهُمْ لِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَمَا نَزَلَ مِنَ الْحَقِّ وَلَا يَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ مِن قَبْلُ فَطَالَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْأَمَدُ فَقَسَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ ۖ وَكَثِيرٌ مِّنْهُمْ فَاسِقُونَ

Has not the time come for the hearts of those who believe (in the Oneness of Allâh - Islâmic Monotheism) to be affected by Allâh's Reminder (this Qur'ân), and that which has been revealed of the truth, lest they become as those who received the Scripture [the Taurât (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] before (i.e. Jews and Christians), and the term was prolonged for them and so their hearts were hardened? And many of them were Fâsiqûn (rebellious, disobedient to Allâh).

اعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ يُحْيِي الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا ۚ قَدْ بَيَّنَّا لَكُمُ الْآيَاتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ

Know that Allâh gives life to the earth after its death! Indeed We have made clear the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) to you, if you but understand. (Al-Hadid 57: 16-17)

Alle roser er grund til Allah, og må Allah ophøje status for Messenger af Allah, og at hans familie og hans kammerater, og kan han give dem fred.

Som for bomber og alle andre våben af ødelæggelse, krig fly, kampvogne og langtrækkende missiler, du er dem, der konstruerede og fremstillede dem med dine sataniske hoveder, som kun tænker overtrædelse, fjendskab, undertrykkelse, angribe, tyranni, erobre hele racer af mennesker og enslaving dem, spreder deres blod, og usurping deres naturlige ressourcer. De tror kun ca annihilating dem, der er imod dig og stå i vejen for din grådige forhåbninger, din undertrykkelse og spredning af had. Alt dette mundede ud i navnet på civilisation, menneskerettigheder, frihed og retfærdighed!

Alle intelligente mennesker kender denne om dig. Til din mørke historie er fyldt med uncivil og terrorhandlinger, en historie registreres mod dig af både dine fjender og allierede mage.

Enhver, der ikke kender dette bør læse om din historie og din besættelse af mange nationer, eller i det mindste læse historie og nogle forfærdelige resultater af dine to verdenskrige. For eksempel er antallet af trafikdræbte i første verdenskrig i Europa nået "Mere end 10 millioner, og de var eliten af deres nationer 'ungdom. A Renowned Muslim Scholar's Critical Response to Recent Attempts to Defame the Prophet Muhammad through Cartoon Drawings and Accusations of Terrorism

[ In the Name of Allah, the All-Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy ]

All praises are due to Allah, and may Allah exalt the status of the Messenger of Allah, and that of his family and his companions, and may He grant them peace.

As for what follows:

Some newspapers and other forms of media have spread hurtful, vicious information that could only emanate from the jealous, arrogant enemies of Islam and its Prophet (may Allah raise his rank and grant him peace).

That conduct comprises a calumniation of Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah and a distortion of his message by jealous individuals and Christian organizations, as well as envious and irresponsible columnists, like those who write for the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten.

Its writers mocked the best of Mankind and the most distinguished of the Messengers, Muhammad (may Allah raise his rank and grant him peace), the likes of whose nobility, honor, justice, and manners the earth has never known of. Neither has it known of a more complete and comprehensive message than his, nor a more just and merciful one.

It is a message that embraces belief in all of the prophets and messengers, honoring them and defending them from calumniation and defamation. It has also preserved an accurate history of the prophets, including Jesus and Moses. So whoever disbelieves in Muhammad and speaks of him in a derogatory manner has disbelieved in all of the prophets and disparaged all of them.

Recently, some uncivilized miscreants made fun of the Prophet, drawing various pictures of him.Twelve despicable pictures, one of them portrayed him (may Allah raise his rank and grant him peace) wearing a turban resembling a bomb on his head.

We say to these criminals and their envious supporters in Europe and America: You are blaming others for your very own crimes!

Let it be known that never did Muhammad (may Allah raise his rank and grant him peace), nor his righteous successors or any of his honorable companions, ever establish factories for even the most primitive of weapons, like swords and spears, let alone atomic bombs, long-range missiles, or any other weapons of mass destruction.

Never did Muhammad (may Allah raise his rank and grant him peace) build a single weapon factory. Rather, he was sent as a mercy for the entire creation, to guide all Mankind towards happiness in their worldly lives and in their hereafter, such that they fulfill their Creator’s right upon them, for it is He who created them to worship Him alone. Whoever rejects this is truly a criminal deserving punishment in this life and the next, by the Lord of all that exists, the Creator of this universe and its Master.

As for you O Westerners, claimants of civilization, you have constitutions and statutes that destroy upright moral character and permit all kinds of forbidden acts, the likes of fornication and homosexuality, as well as usury which destroys the economies of entire nations, and the eating of improperly slaughtered animals (dead meats) and pork, something that causes the loss of concern for women's values, and thus a man does not feel protective of his wife, sister, or daughter, and thus she fornicates with or intimately befriends whomever she pleases. These are some of the means which lead to ruin, and they have been prohibited in all of the prophetic messages.

As for bombs and all other weapons of destruction, war planes, tanks, and long-range missiles, you are the ones who engineered and manufactured them with your satanic minds that only think about transgression, animosity, oppression, attacking, tyranny, conquering entire races of people and enslaving them, spilling their blood, and usurping their natural resources. You think only about annihilating those who oppose you and stand in the way of your greedy aspirations, your oppression and spreading of hatred. All this wrapped up in the name of civilization, human rights, freedom, and justice!

All intelligent people know this about you. For, your dark history is overflowing with uncivil and terrorist acts, a history recorded against you by both your enemies and allies alike.

Anyone who does not know this should read about your history and your occupation of numerous nations, or at least read the history and some horrible results of your two World Wars. For example, the number of fatalities in the First World War in Europe reached "More than 10 million, and they were the elite of their nations' youth. And more than twice this number had incurred serious injuries disabling them for the rest of their lives." [Refer to: At-Taareekh al-Mu'aasir: Uruubbaa minath-Thawratil-Fransiyyah ilal-Harbil-'Aalamiyyaith-Thaaniyah, p.505. (Lit: Recent History, Europe from the French Revolution to the Second World War)]

The number of soldiers killed in the Second World War reached: "17 million, along with another 18 million civilian fatalities - all of them killed within a period of only five and a half years. Experts have estimated that the military expenses alone reached $1.1 trillion, and that losses caused by the war reached the value of $2.1 trillion. Added to this are the number of entire cities destroyed, the amount of earth scorched, the agriculture that was flooded, and the factories and plantations that stopped production, not to mention the number of livestock that were destroyed or lost." [(Al-Harb al-'Aalamiyyah ath-Thaaniyah by Ramadhaan Land, p.448-449) (Lit: The Second World War)]

The Hiroshima Bomb

Stated the author of the book, "al-Harb al-'Aalamiyyah ath-Thaaniyah" (p.446-447) (Lit: The Second World War), "And perhaps it is appropriate to speak about this first atomic bomb. Let us relay what was reported directly from one of the Japanese in his interview with Marcel Junod, a representative of the Red Cross, speaking about the reality of this most frightening explosion. He said: …And suddenly there appeared these intense, muddy pinkish lights, accompanied by an unnatural tremor. This was immediately followed by an asphyxiating wave of heat and violent winds that ravaged everything in their path.

Within only a few seconds, thousands of people who walked the roads or sat in the city's main streets were burned alive. A great number were then killed by the intense heat that spread all over. Others were left lying on the ground screaming in pain with deadly burns all over their bodies. Anything that had been at the point of impact – walls, homes, factories, and other buildings – was completely and totally annihilated, with all traces of these things sent hurling into the sky in a ghastly whirlwind. Trams were plucked from their steel tracks and flung as if they had lost their weight and substance. Trains were lifted off the ground along with their tracks as if they were mere toys. Horses, dogs, and livestock were all befallen with what befell the people. Every living thing had lost its life in one painful turn of events too difficult to describe. Trees were engulfed in blazing fires, rice fields lost their color, and farms crackled and burned away like dry straw.

As for the surrounding areas that escaped instant death: Homes were crumbled and only piles of wooden boards remained amongst bricks and stone foundations. Everything was crushed as if they were cardboard houses in a zone of destruction 10 kilometers in diameter. Those who survived found themselves totally surrounded by raging fires. The few people who managed to get to any type of shelter in time died painful deaths from gamma radiation within 20 to 30 days. By nightfall on the day of the blast, the blaze slowed down and then died out, finding nothing left to fuel it. Hiroshima had passed away into nothingness."

These are some of the landmarks of your civilization that you sing and boast about, and become insolent towards Islam and its Prophet with. Yet you continue intensifying every form of oppression and corruption and you go on inventing more and more weapons of destruction, annihilation, and devastation, and this – by Allah – is the utmost limit of barbaric and animalistic behavior.

" Or do you think that most of them hear or understand? They are only like cattle; nay, they are even farther astray from the Path. (i.e. even worst than cattle). (Al-Furqan 25:44)

So crown yourselves with your own bombs, including the Hiroshima bomb and its likes, and crown your leaders with them. Consider all other weapons of mass destruction as your fangs and claws that you use to prey upon wild animals and all of Mankind.

"And those who do wrong will come to know by what overturning they will be overturned.
(Ash-Shu'ara 26:227)

THE FATWAA OF SHAYKH IBNUL-’UTHAYMEEN:

[Q]: Are there any texts from the Book of Allaah, or from the Sunnah of His Messenger (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) which contain an allowance of multiple groups and parties or al-Ikhwaan?

[A]: I say: There is not either in the Book or the Sunnah that which allows multiple groups and parties. Rather, there is in the Book and the Sunnah that which censures this. Allaah - the Most High - said:

"Verily those who split up their Religion and become sects, you have no concern with them in the least. Their affair is with Allaah who will tell them about what they used to do." [Sooratul An’aam 6:159]

Allaah - the Most High - said:

"Each sect rejoicing in that which is with itself." [Sooratur-Room 30:32]

And there is no doubt that these parties are contrary to what Allaah ordered. Rather what Allaah has ordered and encouraged is in His saying:

"And verily! This your religion (of Islâmic Monotheism) is one religion, and I am your Lord, so keep your duty to Me. (Al-Mu'minun 23:52)" [Sooratul-Mu‘minoon 23:52]

And some people say: It s not possible for the da’wah (call) to be strong unless it is done within the framework of a party! We say to that: This is incorrect! Rather the da’wah will be strong whenever the person is under the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) - following the narrations of the Prophet (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) and that of his Companions.

The Believers Existence in This World - An Explanation of Hadeeth

On the authority of Ibn ‘Umar (radiyallaahu ‘anhumaa) who said, ‘The Messenger of Allaah

(sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) took me by my shoulders and said: ‘Be in this world as if you are a stranger or a wayfarer.’’

And Ibn ‘Umar (radiyallaahu ‘anhumaa) used to say: ‘If you reach the evening, then do not wait for the morning, and if you reach the morning, then do not wait for the evening. And take (advantage of) your health before times of sickness, and take (advantage of) your life before your death.’ [Related by al-Bukhaaree]

Shaikh Muhammad Ibn Salih Al Uthaimeen (rahimahullaah) explained:

“The fortieth hadeeth (of an-Nawawee’s ‘al-Arba’een an-Nawawiyyah’):

On the authority of Ibn ‘Umar (radiyallaahu ‘anhumaa) who said: ‘The Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) took me by my shoulders’

Meaning: he took hold of the two shoulders so he could attract his (Ibn ‘Umar’s) attention that he may memorise what he said.

Then he said to him, ‘Be in this world as if you are a stranger or a wayfarer.’

Meaning: A stranger is one who resides in a land whilst not being from its people. A wayfarer is one who passes by a land while travelling by foot. And the like of those, ‘I mean the stranger or the wayfarer’ does not take that land as being a lasting residence, because he is a traveller.

This admonition affected ‘Abdullaah Ibn ‘Umar (radiyallaahu ‘anhumaa), and for this reason, he used to say,

‘If you reach the evening, then do not wait for the morning, and if you reach the morning, then do not wait for the evening.’

Meaning: if you have reached the evening, then do not say: ‘I will remain until the morning.’ How many people have reached the evening without reaching the morning? And likewise, his saying, ‘And if you reach the morning, then do not wait for the evening.’ And how many people reached the morning without reaching the evening?

And Ibn ‘Umar’s intent regarding this is that mankind seize the opportunity to do righteous deeds so that he does not lose his time in this world whilst he does not realise it.

Ibn ‘Umar continued by saying,

‘And take (advantage of) your health before times of sickness.’

Meaning: Hasten (towards good) during times of health before illness (befalls you). For verily, a person (finds) that as long as he is healthy, it is easy for him to carry out deeds. This is because he is in good health, well pleased and fully capable, and one who is sick will find that he is constrained, is not fully capable, and that it is not easy for him to carry out deeds.

And finally, ‘And take (advantage of) your life before your death.’

That is: Seize the opportunity of life as long as you are alive before you die, because when a person dies, his deeds will cease; this has been authentically related from the Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) when he said:

“When a person dies, his deeds will cease except for three: Charity that continues to benefit others after it has been spent, or knowledge that is benefited from, or pious offspring that prays for him.”’ [Related by Muslim]

From the benefits of this hadeeth:

% That someone should not make this world his principle place of settlement on account of Ibn ‘Umar’s saying: ‘Be in this world as if you are a stranger or a wayfarer.’

% That it is imperative for every sane and discerning individual, as long as he is alive and his health is ample, to persist in carrying out good deeds before he dies and his deeds cease. And from the benefits of this hadeeth are that it is necessary for an instructor to create the means that will catch the attention of the one who is being addressed, because the Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) took ‘Abdullaah Ibn ‘Umar (radiyallaahu ‘anhumaa) by the shoulders.

% The virtue of ‘Abdullaah Ibn ‘Umar (radiyallaahu ‘anhumaa) wherein he was deeply moved by this admonition from the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam).”

Suicide Attacks...Permissible in Islaam ? ? ?

Shaikh Muhammad Ibn Salih Al Uthaimeen on Suicide Bombings and Suicide Operations

Shaikh Ibn Uthaimeen (died in 2001 CE), one of the most senior scholars in the Islamic world in contemporary times had numerous verdicts on the issue of suicide bombings. We reproduce some of them here as compiled in the book "Kayfa Nu'aalij Waaqi'unaa al-Aleem" (How Do We Treat Our Painful Condition, pp.119-120). Please note that these verdicts were around the mid 1990s if not earlier.

Question: What is the ruling regarding acts of jihad by means of suicide, such as attaching explosives to a car and storming the enemy, whereby he knows without a doubt that he shall die as a result of this action?

Answer: Indeed, my opinion is that he is regarded as one who has killed himself (committed suicide), and as a result he shall be punished in Hell, for that which is authenticated on the authority of the Prophet (sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam).

"Indeed, whoever (intentionally) kills himself, then certainly he will be punished in the Fire of Hell, wherein he shall dwell forever", [Bukhaaree and Muslim ]

However, one who is ignorant and does not know, and assumes his action was good and pleasing to Allah (the Sublime and Exalted), then we hope Allah (the Sublime and Exalted) forgives him for that which he did out of (ignorant) ijtihaad (personal judgement), even though I do not find any excuse for him in the present day. This is because this type of suicide is well known and widespread amongst the people, so it is upon the person to ask the people of knowledge (scholars) regarding it, until the right guidance for him is differentiated from the error.

And from that which is surprising, is that these people kill themselves despite Allah having fordbidden this, as He (the Sublime and Exalted) says:

"And do not kill yourselves. Surely, Allah is Most Merciful to you." [Soorah an-Nisaa 4:29].

And many amongst them do not desire anything except revenge of the enemy, by whatever means, be it halal or haraam. So they only want to satisfy their thirst for revenge.

We ask Allah to bless us with foresight in His Deen and action(s) which please Him, indeed He is all Powerful over all things.

And also:

Question: What is the ruling regarding suicide in Islam?

Answer: Suicide is when a person kills himself intentionally by whatever means. This is haraam and regarded as amongst the major sins, and likewise included in the general statement of Allaah (Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala):

"And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell to abide therein, and the Wrath and the Curse of Allah are upon him, and a great punishment is prepared for him" [Soorah an-Nisaa, 4:93].

And it is established from the Sunnah on the authority of the Prophet (sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam) who said:

"Indeed, whoever (intentionally) kills himself, then certainly he will be punished in the Fire of Hell, wherein he shall dwell forever" [Bukhaaree and Muslim].

In reality, the one who commits suicide, generally does so because of his desperate situation, either as a direct result of an act of Allah or of a human being. So you find him unable to cope with that which has afflicted him. In actual fact he is like one who is calling for help from the scorching heat of the fire. So he has progressed from that which was tough (bad) to that which is worse. And if he was patient then Allah would have assisted him in dealing with the difficulty.

Did you know that cow's milk has a cure for every illness in it?

Yes, it's true! On the authority of 'Abdullaah ibn Mas'ood (may Allaah be pleased with him), the Prophet (sallallaahu 'alayhe wa sallam) said:

"Drink cow's milk! For verily it (the cow) eats from all kinds of vegetation, and it (the milk) is a cure for every illness." [1]

Did you know that there is a kind of kufr (disbelief) that is obligatory on every Muslim?

Yes, there is. In fact, one can not be a Muslim without commiting this act of disbelief. It is the disbelief that Allaah refers to in the Verse [2]:

( Whoever disbelieves in Tâghût and believes in Allâh, then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that will never break. And Allâh is All-Hearer, All-Knower. (Al-Baqarah 2:256) )

It is a condition for a person's acceptance of Islaam that he disbelieves in everything that is worshipped besides Allaah, as belief in Allaah along with other deities has not caused a person to enter into Islaam. This is the essence of a Muslim's testimony of faith: Laa ilaaha ill-Allaah, meaning: "There is nothing worthy of worship except Allaah."

Did you know that there are Muslims who claim to have the same level of faith as the angels and prophets?

Yes, there are. They are a group of innovators called the Murji'ah. The Murji'ah claim that eemaan (faith) is one level, it does not increase or decrease. Based on this, they claim that a person either has eemaan or not; so whoever has it, he has the same amount of eemaan as the angels and the prophets!

Of course, the Murji'ah's beliefs are rejected by many Verses in the Qur'aan and narrations from the Messenger that prove that eemaan has levels and it fluxuates due to a person's obedience or disobedience. For example, Allaah says [3]:

( The believers are only those who, when Allâh is mentioned, feel a fear in their hearts and when His Verses (this Qur'ân) are recited unto them, they (i.e. the Verses) increase their Faith; and they put their trust in their Lord (Alone); (Al-Anfal 8:2) )

So the Qur'aan proves clearly that eemaan increases. As for the decrease of eemaan, Sufyaan ibn 'Uyaynah was asked, "Does eemaan increase and decrease?"

He replied, "Don't you read the Qur'aan: ( So their eemaan was increased ) in so many places?"

Then it was said, "But does it decrease?"

He replied, "Nothing increases except that it also decreases!" [6]

This shows how ridiculous it is to believe that eemaan does not increase or decrease, which implies that the drunk, fornicating Muslim has the same level of eemaan as the righteous Muslims, the Prophets, and even the Angels!

Did you know that the Prophet's favorite color was green (sallallaahu 'alayhe wa sallam)?

Yes, it's true! Anas ibn Maalik (may Allaah be pleased with him) said, "The most beloved color to the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu 'alayhe wa sallam) was GREEN." [7]

Ignore Shaytan's Waswaas (whisper from the Shaytaan)

Question: I am a young practicing Muslim. I am often beset with doubts. When i perform ablution, I doubt that I have performed it well, so I perform it a second time. During prayer, I feel that I may have passed wind, so I stop my prayer to perform ablution another time.

Answer:
Doubts - that beset the mind concerning worship or matters of belief, even the essence of Allaah - are from Shaytaan. When the Prophet's Companions complained to him about doubts that sometimes entered their hearts, doubts they thought that are too wicked to speak about, the Prophet (salallaahu alayhi wasallam) told them that, that was because of their faith, meaning its purity.

That is because Shaytaan whispers doubts about faith only in those hearts that are free from any doubt, hoping that those hearts will obey him. Meanwhile, Shaytaan does not need to whisper into a heart that is already beset with doubts because he has already successfully completed his work on that heart.

I advise you to seek refuge in Allaah Almighty from Shaytaan; ignore his whispers, regardless whether they come to you during prayer, during ablution, or at any other time. Although these doubts indicate a pure faith, if they continue, they may also indicate weak willpower.

Try your utmost to ignore his whisperings. When you bring an item home from the store, do you doubt that it is in your hands? The answer is obviously no. This is because the Shaytaan does not whisper to man in these kinds of affairs; he only whispers to him about his worship so that he can ruin it for him. Also, when you have completed an act of worship, don't have doubts about whether it was performed correctly, unless you are sure that there was some defect.

1)Seeking Refuge With Allah from Shaytaan

Sulaiman bin Surd said "While I was sitting in the company of the Prophet(peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), two men abused each other and the face of one of them became red with anger, and his jugular veins swelled (i.e. he became furious). On that the Prophet(peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, "I know a word, the saying of which will cause him to relax, if he does say it. If he said, “A’oodhu billaahi min al-shaytaan (I seek refuge with Allaah from the Shaytaan),”, this [anger] would go away"

2)Resisting anger is one of the signs of righteousness (taqwaa).

The righteous (al-muttaqoon) are those praised by Allaah in the Qur'aan and by His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). Paradise as wide as heaven and earth has been prepared for them.

"And march forth in the way (which leads to) forgiveness from your Lord, and for Paradise as wide as are the heavens and the earth, prepared for Al-Muttaqûn (the pious".(Aali Imran 3:133)

"Those who spend [in Allâh's Cause - deeds of charity, alms, etc.] in prosperity and in adversity, who repress anger, and who pardon men; verily, Allâh loves Al-Muhsinûn (the good doers)". (Aali Imran 3:134)

"And those who avoid the greater sins[], and Al-Fawâhish (illegal sexual intercourse, etc.), and when they are angry, they forgive[]" (Ash-Shura 42:37)

Meaning of a Verse in Quran...

O assembly of jinns and men! If you have power to pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, then pass (them)! But you will never be able to pass them, except with authority (from Allâh)! (Ar-Rahman 55:33)

This challenge from Allaah to all will be on the day of resurrection when all creatures, Jinn and humans, will be assembled and the heavens split apart. Angels will descend from all of heavens and encircle the resurrected. Allah will challenge the people assembled to escape if they can. They will not be able to escape as they will not have the ability or the power to do so with the angels besieging and encircling them from all sides.

In explanation of this Verse, Ibn Kathir (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: "Meaning that you cannot escape Allaah’s power and predestination, which are everywhere around you. You cannot escape Allah’s power or break away from His authority or ruling on you. On the day of resurrection, wherever you go, you will be surrounded on all sides by seven rows of angels. No one can pass beyond the zones "except with authority" i.e. an order from Allah [or except with the commandment from Allah]

Aqeedah(Belief) of Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaa’ah

Aqeedah is to believe

in Allah, (Tawheed)

His Angles,
His Books,
His Messengers,
the Last Day
in Qadr (Pre Decree), the good and the bad of it, and that it is from Allah.

Tawheed is to:

Believe in the Ruboobiyyah of Allah, and that is to believe that Allah is the sustainer, the creator and the owner of all things and He is the one who runs the affairs.

Believe in His Uloohiyyah, and that is that He is the only One worthy of all worship and all that which is worshipped other than Him is falsehood (Taaghut).

Believe in His Asmaa was Sifaat (Names and Attributes), and that is

to believe that His beautiful names and perfect attributes are specific only

to Him. And affirm the names and attributes which Allaah has affirmed

for Himself in His Book and in the Sunnah of His Messenger (peace and

blessings of Allaah be upon him) in a manner that befits Him, without

distorting or denying the meanings, or asking how, or likening Him to His creations.

Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaa’ah believes in the Tawheed of all these aspects, and that is to believe that Allah has no partner in any of them.

The Importance of Tawheed and the Evil Result of Neglecting it

[ In the Name of Allaah, the All-Merciful, may His Salaah and Salaam be upon His final Messenger, to proceed... ]

Someone may say, and it actually has been said, "What is it with you that you always focus on tawheed and you talk so much about it?! And you don't take into consideration the condition of the Muslims in our day and time, those who are being killed and caused to flee all over the earth, those being persecuted by the empires of disbelief in every place?!"

So we say, and with Allaah lies success:

Tawheed is the foundation upon which this upright religion has been built, so focusing on it means to focus on the very core itself. For if we were to reflect over the Noble Qur'aan we would find that it expounds on issues of tawheed repetitively, so much so that there does not exist a single soorah in the Qur'aan that does not mention tawheed, clarifying it and prohibiting what opposes it. It was Al-Imaam Ibn Al-Qayyim who pointed out that the entire Qur'aan is about tawheed, since it is only made up of the following:

* Information about Allaah and His Names and Attributes - This is the tawheed that we are to have knowledge of, called tawheed ar-ruboobiyyah.

* Commands to worship Allaah alone with no partners and prohibitions of worshipping other than Him - This is the tawheed that we must put into action, called tawheed al-uloohiyyah.

* Commands to obey Allaah and His Messenger (sallallaahu 'alayhe wa sallam) and prohibitions of disobeying Allaah and His Messenger (sallallaahu 'alayhe wa sallam) - These are the ways that tawheed is actualized and completed.

* Information about what Allaah has prepared for the people of tawheed, the delights, success, salvation, and triumphs in this life and the Next, and the punishments that are in store for the people of shirk in this life, and the eternal torture prepared for them upon their one-way entrance into the Hellfire - The first is for those who actualize tawheed, the latter is for those who do not. [1]

Therefore the entire Qur'aan is centered around tawheed. If you were to think about the soorahs revealed in Makkah, you would find that most of them focus entirely on tawheed. That is because the Prophet (sallallaahu 'alayhe wa sallam) stayed in Makkah for 13 years calling to tawheed and warning against shirk. The vast majority of the religious obligations like zakaah, fasting, Hajj, the affairs of halaal and haraam, business transactions, etc. were not revealed until after the Hijrah to Al-Madeenah. The legislation of the prayer is an exception to this, as it was made an obligation while the Prophet (sallallaahu 'alayhe wa sallam) was still in Makkah on the Night of Al-Mi'raaj, when he (sallallaahu 'alayhe wa sallam) was taken by night (to Jerusalem) [2], but that was only a short time before the Hijrah.

So the majority of the soorahs revealed before the Prophet (sallallaahu 'alayhe wa sallam) made hijrah were focused entirely on tawheed, thus showing how truly important the subject is. Furthermore, the religious obligations were not revealed until tawheed was presented and established within the souls of the people, and the proper 'aqeedah had taken root. For verily actions can not be correct except with tawheed, nor can they have other than tawheed as their foundation.

The Qur'aan has illustrated that the Messengers ('alayhim As-Salaatu was-Salaam) all began their missions by inviting the people to tawheed before anything else, as Allaah says

And verily, We have sent among every Ummah (community, nation) a Messenger (proclaiming): "Worship Allâh (Alone), and avoid (or keep away from) Tâghût(all false deities, etc.)( i.e. do not worship Tâghût besides Allâh)."(An-Nahl 16:36)

Allaah also says :

( And We did not send any Messenger before you (O Muhammad ) but We inspired him (saying): Lâ ilâha illa Ana [none has the right to be worshipped but I (Allâh)], so worship Me (Alone and none else) (Al-Anbiya 21:25)

And every prophet used to say to his people :

Indeed, We sent Nûh (Noah) to his people and he said: "O my People! Worship Allâh! You have no other Ilâh (God) but Him. (Lâ ilâha ill-Allâh: none has the right to be worshipped but Allâh). (Al-A'raf 7:59)

So this was the affair of the messengers - they began with tawheed.

Similarly the callers and revivalists who followed the messengers used to begin by focusing on tawheed. That is because every single da'wah that is not built upon tawheed is a fruitless call that does not fulfill its purpose, and there is no positive result to it. Every da'wah that does not focus on tawheed is a lost call, with regards to its end results. This is something well known and seen all over.

On the other hand, every da'wah centered around tawheed is a truly successful call, by Allaah's Permission, a cal that benefits the society and bears many fruits. History bears witness to this.

So we are not neglecting the issues of the Muslims, rather we are very concerned about them. We are assisting them and trying to prevent every harm from reaching them using all our resources. It is not something light on us that the Muslims are being killed and exiled, but it is not true concern for the situation of the Muslims that we force ourselves to shed tears insincerely, or that we fill the world with speeches and writings, screaming and wailing… for verily this does not accomplish a thing.

Finding the real solution to the Muslims' problems requires us to seek out the reasons that have led to the punishments afflicting the Muslims at the hands of their enemies.

What is causing the enemies of the Muslims to gain and hold authority over them?

When we look to the Muslim world, we do not see any serious commitment to Islaam with most of those who ascribe to it, except the few that Allaah has had Mercy on. What we see are Muslims by name only, the 'aqeedah of most of them is lost. They worship other than Allaah, calling on saints and righteous people, clinging to graves and tombs, not establishing the prayer, not paying zakaah, not fasting, etc. They are not fulfilling the basic obligations Allaah asked of them, they are not even gathering their strength or preparing physically to fight the disbelievers! This is the case with the majority of those who ascribe themselves to Islaam - they have lost their religion, so Allaah, the Mighty and Majestic, caused them to be lost.

The most significant factor that has led them to be subjected to these punishments is their heedlessness regarding affairs of tawheed and their falling into major shirk, to the point that they do not prohibit each other from it, nor do they even show any contempt for it! Those who do not fall into it themselves still condone it or do not consider it shirk. An explanation of this is forthcoming, in shaa' Allaah. So know that this is the primary reason that the Muslims have been subjected to such punishments.

If they were to hold firmly to their religion, actualizing tawheed and establishing their 'aqeedah upon the Book and the Sunnah, holding together to the Rope of Allaah, shunning division, then verily what has been allowed to befall them will not be allowed to befall them anymore, as Allaah says :

Those (Muslim rulers) who, if We give them power in the land, (they) order for Iqamat-as-Salât. [i.e. to perform the five compulsory congregational Salât (prayers) (the males in mosques)], to pay the Zakât and they enjoin Al-Ma'rûf (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism and all that Islâm orders one to do), and forbid Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief, polytheism and all that Islâm has forbidden) [i.e. they make the Qur'ân as the law of their country in all the spheres of life]. And with Allâh rests the end of (all) matters (of creatures). (Al-Hajj 22:41)

So Allaah has made it clear that victory will not be given to the Muslims unless they focus on what He mentioned - establishing the prayer, paying zakaah, commanding what is good, and forbidding what is evil.

Where are these affairs with the Muslims and their current situations today? Where is the establishment of the prayer by most of the Muslims? Or even more importantly, where is the correct 'aqeedah for most of those who claim Islaam as their religion?!

Allaah says :

Allâh has promised those among you who believe, and do righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession to (the present rulers) in the earth, as He granted it to those before them, and that He will grant them the authority to practise their religion, that which He has chosen for them (i.e. Islâm). And He will surely give them in exchange a safe security after their fear .... (An-Nur 24:55)

But where is the very first condition for this promise?

...(provided) they (believers) worship Me and do not associate anything (in worship) with Me. But whoever disbelieved after this, they are the Fâsiqûn (rebellious, disobedient to Allâh). (An-Nur 24:55)

So He clarified that this gaining of authority and fortification will only come to pass when this condition is fulfilled - that they worship Him alone without any partners, and this is the essence of tawheed. These generously promised things will not be granted except to those who understand and apply tawheed, worshipping Allaah alone with no partners, with acts of worship including prayer, zakaah, Hajj, and all other acts of obedience.

Note that Allaah, Glorified and Exalted, did not say, "They worship Me," only, rather He followed that up with His Statement :

(..and do not associate anything (in worship) with Me) (An-Nur 24:55)

That is because worship is of no benefit with the presence of shirk. All forms of shirk must be avoided, no matter what shape, form, or name. Shirk simply means to perform an act of worship for other than Allaah, the Mighty and Majestic.

This is what brings about true salvation, safety, victory, and strength in the land - correcting the 'aqeedah and then correcting the deeds. Without this, disasters and punishments will continue to befall whoever does not completely fulfill the condition (for Allaah's Aid). Being conquered by the enemies is only the result of the Muslims not fulfilling this necessary condition, their lack of proper concern for their 'aqeedah and Religion, and their contentment with carrying Muslim names and nothing more.

A Short Description of Tawheed.....

Question:

What are the types of Tawheed and the definitions of each one of them?
Answer:

The types of Tawheed are three: Tawheed ar-Ruboobiyyah, Tawheed al-Uloohiyyah and Tawheed al-Asmaa was-Sifaat.

Tawheed ar-Ruboobiyyah is singling out Allaah the Exalted with (the actions of) creation, providing sustenance, giving life, causing death, and all of the types of regulation and administration of the dominion of the heavens and earth, and (also) singling Him out, the Exalted, with (the right to) judgement and legislation and sending of the Messengers and revealing of Books. Allaah the Exalted said, "Verily, to Him belongs the creation and the Commandment, Blessed be Allâh, the Lord of the 'Alamîn (mankind, jinns and all that exists)! (Al-A'raf 7:54)

Tawheed al-Uloohiyyah is singling out Allaah with worship so that none besides Him is worshipped, so that none besides Him is called upon, so that no one is sought for rescue, or aid except Him. So that no one is sacrificed to or slaughtered for, or made an oath for, except Him. Allaah the Exalted said, "Say (O Muhammad ): "Verily, my Salât (prayer), my sacrifice, my living, and my dying are for Allâh, the Lord of the 'Alamîn (mankind, jinns and all that exists). "He has no partner. And of this I have been commanded, and I am the first of the Muslims." (Al-An'am 6:162-163)

"Therefore turn in prayer to your Lord and sacrifice (to Him only)" (al-Kawthar 108:2).

And Tawheed al-Asmaa was-Sifaat is describing Allaah the Most High and naming Him with whatever He described and named Himself with, and with whatever His Messenger (sallAllaahu `alayhi wa sallam) described and named Him with in the authentic narrations (ahadeeths). And also to affirm that for Allaah, a) without resemblance (to the creation) or b) likening (to the creation), and c) without (false) interpretation (of any of that) or d) negation (of any of that). "There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer". (Ash-Shura 42:11)

And may Allaah send prayers and salutations upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family and his companions.

Who are the Salaf?

The meaning of the [word] Salaf is (Al-Mutaqaddimoon) the predecessors so every person that precedes another is a salaf for him but when this term is used unrestrictedly then it only refers to the first three praised generations from the companions (as-Sahaabah) and those that followed them (at-Taabi’oon) and those that followed them [Atba’ at-Taabyi’een].

They indeed are the pious predecessors (as-Salaf as-Saaleh).

Whoever came after them and traversed upon their way (Minhaaj) then he is like them upon the way of the Salaf; even though he may have come after them with regards to time because as-Salafiyyah is a designation which applies to the way (Minhaaj)) which was traversed by the pious predecessors (as-Salaf as-Saaleh) as the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam) said:

“Indeed my nation will split into seventy three sects all of them in the Fire except one and it is the united body (al-Jamaa’ah)”

and in another wording,

“..whoever is upon the same as what I am upon and my companions.”

So based upon that then as-Salafiyyah here is specific in meaning, hence whoever is upon the way (Minhaaj) of the Sahaabah, the Taabi’oon and those who followed them upon goodness then he is a Salafi even if he is in our contemporary times and whilst it being the fourteenth century after the Migration [of the Prophet] (al-Hijrah).

and said: "Be in this world as if you were a stranger or a passer by"

Beware of "Jamate Tableegh" (Tableegh Jamaath)

Praise be to Allaah.

Some of Jamaa’at al-Tableegh's mistakes are:

1 – Not adopting the ‘aqeedah of Ahl al-Sunnah wa'l-Jamaa'ah. This is clearly seen from the variations in the ‘aqeedah of some of their members and even of some of their leaders.

2 – Their not paying attention to shar’i knowledge.

3 – Their misinterpretation of some Qur’aanic verses in a manner that was not intended by Allaah. For example they interpret the verses on jihad as referring to “going out for da’wah”. The verses which mentioned the word khurooj (going out) etc. are interpreted by them as meaning going out for da’wah.

4 – They make their system of going out for da’wah an act of worship. So they started to misquote the Qur’aan to support their system which specifies certain numbers of days and months. This system, which they think is based on evidence from Qur’aan, is widespread among them in all countries and environments.

5 – They do some things that go against sharee’ah, such as appointing one of them to make du’aa’ for them whilst the group goes out for da’wah, and they think that their success or failure depends on whether or not this man was sincere and his du’aa’ accepted.

6 – Da’eef (weak) and mawdoo’ (fabricated) ahaadeeth are widespread among them, and this is not befitting for those who aim to call people to Allaah.

7 – They do not speak of munkaraat (evil things), thinking that enjoining what is good is sufficient.
Hence we find that they do not speak about evils that are widespread among the people, even though the slogan of this ummah – which they continually repeat – is:
“Let there arise out of you a group of people inviting to all that is good (Islam), enjoining Al-Ma‘roof (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do) and forbidding Al-Munkar (polytheism and disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden). And it is they who are the successful”
[Aal ‘Imraan 3:104 – interpretation of the meaning]

The successful are those who enjoin what is good and forbid what is evil, not just those who do only one of the two.

8 – Some of them fall into self-admiration and arrogance, which leads them to look down on others, and even to look down on the scholars and describe them as inactive and sleeping, or to show off. So you find them talking about how they went out and travelled, and they saw such and such, which leads to unfavourable results, as we have mentioned.

9 – They regard going out for da’wah as better than many acts of worship such as jihad and seeking knowledge, even though those things are obligatory duties, or may be obligatory for some people but not others.

10 – Some of them audaciously issue fatwas, and discuss tafseer and hadeeth. That is because they allow each one of them to address the people and explain to them. This leads to them speak audaciously on matters of sharee’ah. So the inevitably speak of the meaning of a ruling, hadeeth or verse when they have not read anything about it, or listened to any of the scholars. And some of them are new Muslims or have only recently come back to Islam.

11- Some of them are negligent with regard to the rights of their children and wives. Hence the scholars do not allow people to go out with them, except for those who want to help them and correct the mistakes that they have fallen into.
